Our fleet is built around two manufacturers and three performance tiers. We don't run one-size-fits-all: each buggy is matched to a rider profile.

Polaris RZR 1000cc — The Workhorse (2-seater & 4-seater)

The Polaris RZR 1000cc is our most-booked buggy. ProStar 999cc twin-cylinder engine, 100hp, automatic transmission, electronic power steering. The 2-seater is agile and forgiving—perfect for couples and first-time drivers. The 4-seater fits a family of four and is the highest-converting vehicle for parents who want their teens in the back.

Pricing: 30-minute Polaris RZR 2S starts at AED 600. One-hour 2S is AED 900. Two-hour 2S is AED 1,750. The 4-seater starts at AED 800 / 30 min, AED 1,200 / hour, and AED 2,200 / 2 hours. Add a BBQ combo and the 6-hour package begins at AED 2,200 (2S) or AED 3,200 (4S).

Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo — The Sport Tier (2-seater & 4-seater)

The Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo steps the experience up. Rotax 900cc turbo, 195hp, 24-inch travel suspension. It eats steeper dunes and lands smoother than the Polaris. We recommend it for guests who've ridden any kind of off-road vehicle before, or for first-timers who specifically want power.

Pricing: 30-minute Can-Am X3 2S starts at AED 999, scaling to AED 1,499 for one hour and AED 2,800 for two hours. The 4-seater starts at AED 1,200 / 30 min, AED 1,950 / hour, and AED 3,800 / 2 hours. The Can-Am BBQ combo is AED 2,799 (2S) or AED 3,950 (4S).

Can-Am Maverick R 240HP — The Apex (2-seater)

The Can-Am Maverick R is our top-end buggy. 240hp Rotax engine, 25-inch travel suspension, throttle response that punches you into the seat. This vehicle is for experienced riders only; we screen bookings and may decline first-time riders for safety reasons. Tour Durations and Pricing: 30 Min, 1 Hr, 2 Hr, 3 Hr, BBQ Combos

We sell five duration tiers and they're priced to be transparent. 30 minutes is for guests on tight schedules or first-timers who want a taster before booking longer. 1 hour is the most popular—long enough to settle into the buggy and read the dunes. 2 hours is for guests who want technical lines and time to push the vehicle. 3 hours is for advanced riders or photo shoots. 6-hour BBQ combos bundle a 60-minute drive with a Bedouin camp dinner and entertainment.

All durations include helmet, goggles, harness, water, and an experienced lead guide. Hotel pickup is included for central Dubai. Insurance is included. Fuel is included.

Where We Ride: Al Lahbab and the Red Dune Zone

Our private base is in Al Lahbab, in the Red Dune zone southeast of Dubai. The drive from Downtown Dubai takes 40-50 minutes depending on traffic. Lahbab is famous for two things: the colour of the sand (deep red-orange iron-rich grain) and the height of the dunes (peaks of 70-100 meters within the riding zone).

We hold a long-term operating permit for a defined ride zone, which means our routes don't overlap with the dune-bashing 4WD safari traffic. You ride on cleaner sand with fewer tracks. The zone has multiple natural amphitheatre bowls perfect for warming up and a series of long ridges for advanced cornering.

What's Included in Every Buggy Tour

Vehicle: serviced before every tour, fuel topped up, tires checked. Helmets and goggles: certified, sized to fit, sanitised between groups. Four-point harness: in every buggy, fitted by the guide. Lead guide: rides ahead in a separate buggy, sets the line, manages pace. Water: a chilled bottle per rider, refills available. Insurance: third-party plus damage waiver. Photo stops: the guide will pause at scenic ridges so you can shoot phone photos.

For the BBQ combo, additionally: hotel pickup and drop-off, dune bashing in a Land Cruiser before the buggy ride for those who want the seated rush, sandboarding session, camel ride, henna painting, falconry photo opportunity, traditional buffet dinner, Tanoura and belly-dance performance, soft drinks and tea/coffee unlimited.

Who Can Drive: Age, License, Experience Requirements

For self-drive buggy: minimum age 18, valid driver's license required (any country). The license must be presented at pickup; a digital photo is acceptable but the original is preferred. Passengers can be from age 5, with a smaller harness fitted by the guide.

No prior off-road experience is required for the Polaris RZR or the standard Can-Am Maverick X3. The Can-Am Maverick R is restricted to guests with documented prior off-road experience—we will ask on booking and may decline if the answer is uncertain.

Pregnancy: we do not allow pregnant women to drive or ride as passengers in our buggies due to dune impact forces. Back conditions, recent surgery, or chronic neck issues should be discussed with us before booking.

Safety Briefing: What the Guide Covers Before You Drive

Every tour starts with a 10-minute briefing on the buggy itself: where the kill switch is, how the harness clicks in, where to put your feet, why you keep your hands on the wheel at all times. Then a 5-minute briefing on the dunes: where to commit throttle, where to ease off, what to do if you stall on a slip face (answer: signal the guide, don't try to recover alone).

For first-timers, the guide rides 200 meters with you on flat ground before any climbing. You won't be sent up a 60-degree dune until the guide is satisfied with your line on the flat. This isn't bureaucratic—it's how we keep our zero-incident rate.

Best Times to Ride: Sunrise, Sunset, BBQ Combo

Sunrise rides (departure 5:30am) put you on the dunes in cool air with firm sand and the cleanest light. October-April only; summer mornings are still hot. The downside is the early alarm; the upside is empty dunes and your photos will look like postcards.

Late afternoon rides (departure 3:30pm or 4pm) are our highest-volume slot. The light turns golden through the last hour, and most rides finish in twilight. If you're booking a BBQ combo, this is the natural pickup time—buggy ride 4–5pm, sunset 5:30pm, dinner from 6:30pm.

Night rides are available on the Can-Am X3 RS Turbo RR with our LED light bar package. The buggy lights the dunes ahead in clean white; the underglow strips give the vehicle a cyan teal signature glow. Limited slots; book at least 48 hours in advance.

Frequently Asked Questions About Buggy Rental Dubai

Is it dangerous? Off-road driving has inherent risk. Our zero-incident record is built on the briefing, the guide system, the safety gear, and the supervised ride zone. Follow the guide's instructions and the risk is comparable to a guided ski lesson on a blue run.

Can I drive my friend's buggy too? No—each buggy comes with one assigned driver. Switching mid-ride invalidates the insurance.

Do you have automatic transmission? Yes. Every buggy in our fleet is automatic. No clutch, no gear stick.

Can I bring a GoPro? Yes, mount it on the roll cage with a clamp (we have spares). Don't mount on the helmet—dust will scratch the lens.

What if it rains? Rain is rare in Dubai. If it happens, we'll either reschedule or refund—rides don't run on wet sand for safety.
