Classic Red Dune Evening Desert Safari + Bedouin BBQ Dinner Experience

Overview

Have a thrilling and fun experience in the remote desert area known as Lahbab. Choose between a 4-hour tour option which includes dune bashing, sand-boarding, and a camel ride, or the 7-hour tour option which adds on a BBQ dinner, and all desert camp activities. Your safari guide will pick you up from your hotel in a 4WD vehicle. Your tour starts with a 50-minute drive into the desert. Enjoy stunning views of Dubai from the car window. The guide will answer any of your questions while you learn more about Dubai’s history. Your first stop will be at the desert rest area. Take a 25-minute break as the convoy catches up. While you wait, your safari guide will air down the tires of the vehicle to ensure better driving conditions. You can enjoy an optional quad bike experience if you wish on site. Then, take an adventurous 30-45 minute dune drive across the desert. Feel your adrenaline rush as you slide across from one dune to another in a 4×4 vehicle. The drive will take you further into the desert, up to a high desert dune for a photo stop.

From here, admire beautiful 360-degree views of the desert landscape as the sun slowly sets. Use this photo stop to try sandboarding (sand-surfing), before heading to the desert camp.

The 4-hour tour program ends here, and you will be returned to your hotel. If you’ve chosen the 7-hour option, your tour will continue with a visit to the hidden desert camp. Arrive at camp and be greeted with Qahwa (Arabic coffee), dates, and Lugamat (a traditional sweet).

Your safari guide will brief you about the various activities available at the camp. Hop on a camel for a short ride, try a shisha pipe, decorate your hands with Henna tattoos, or take pictures in traditional Arabic clothes. As the night settles in, enjoy a scrumptious BBQ dinner of kebabs, hummus, and salads accompanied by sodas, water, and additional drinks from the bar. Enjoy a colorful belly dancing show and Tanura performance, where fast-spinning dancers whirl across the stage. Don’t forget to snap some photos with the Arabian falcons that are present at the camp. Finally, after the last show, return to your hotel in Dubai.

Dubai desert 4x4 dune bashing is a thrilling ride in the Dubai desert that is about 45 minutes maximum. After 30 minutes of a rough ride in the open desert, the safari captain stops at any big dune so you can take pictures and let the 4x4 get cool. The vehicles travel in convoy and stick close together as they perform their stunts. You were going to enjoy this thrilling slipping and the sliding, the skidding and the spinning ride. And sand, lots and lots of sand.

Henna leaves are processed into powder form and then mixed with other safe chemicals to make a paste. The art is more like tattoo art, except the application is painless and certainly does not harm the skin. We recommend you to wear normal comfortable clothes. For Boys: Shorts or Cotton Pants with T-Shirts. For Girls: Shalwar Kamiz, or Pants & T-Shirts As you will feel more comfortable while the dune bashing and sand skiing. Also, much better if you wear sandals instead of shoes as the sand gets into the shoes and make trouble for you.

The Dubai Desert Safari tour is a 7 hours tour. You will be picked up from your hotel around 3:00 pm and will be drop back by 9:30 pm.
